In January 1971, Seqtant, a one-time joint publication of the NVSH (Dutch
Society for Sexual Reform) and COC (Dutch Union for the Integration of Homosexuals),
included a testimony of a Belgian man.
He writes (free translation):
“I know from my own experience that a [voluntary] pedophile relationship
can be harmless for a boy. As a child, I was in such a relationship myself and it only made me and my adult partner happy.
The expression of sexuality is desirable, or even necessary, at any age, and if a child is not told that it does anything wrong, it will help him become a care-free, uncomplicated, cheerful human being.”
