Notes

1) Most revealing is Dr.Kelloggs' own book reprinted in 1974 by Arno Press and also fully online at the etext archive: Plain Facts For Old and Young, 1888; See the "Unchastity" section pages 169-327 especially.
For more information on John Harvey Kellogg and his brother W.K. working together, see John Harvey Kellogg, M.D. by Richard W. Schwarz, Southern Publishing Assoc, Nashville, TN; page 118, 210; see also Cornflake Crusade by Gerald Carson, Rineheart; New York, 1957.

2) See "From Corn Flakes to Clitoridectomies" in "The Guide" Magazine, by Bill Andriette, pages 92-96, November 1990 ( www.guidemag.co )

(3) See Chomsky's original "Media Control" speech under "Spectator Democracy" sub-heading; includes public policy leaders like Reinhold Niebuhr ("guru of George Kennan and the Kennedy intellectuals"), Edward Bernays, and Harold Lasswell, and ideas like "the Mohawk valley formula."

4) Take a look at The Theology of Medicine by Dr.Thomas Szasz, MD (1974). He draws convincing parallels in his demystification of so-called "mental illness" where he shows such terminology is only metaphorical jargon to keep the public mystified. The apparently heavily-attacked (for good reason?) cchr.org also echoes Szaszian insights.

5) See The Essential Lippmann by Walter Lippmann, Random House, 1963; see also chapters on the Public Relations industry in Toxic Sludge Is Good For You by S. Rampton and J. Stauber.

6) See A People's History of the United States by Howard Zinn, pages 37, 38, 53-57 and area. (ACCURATE???) (Giving a ‘tract of land’ to white rebels whom had joined with Black and Indigenous resistance.)

7) See Canada's Bill C-128 or find transcript of this radio show from the CBC c/o "Ideas" Box 500, Station A, Toronto, Ontario, SSW IE6 Canada (see also www.cbc.ca/radio ). John Sharpe's challenge in British Columbia, where he defended himself and won in provincial court, and later lost in the Canadian Supreme Court, articulates such politics pretty clearly as well. [SEE HIS WEBSITE]

8) See Reflections of A Rock Lobster by Aaron Fricke. When reading his book I myself cried at that part where he talks about feeling like the monster that the media made about all those attracted to boys, since it was so like my own experience.

9) For info on Thailand's political torture of kids, see The Poison River by Steve Raymond, Amsterdam Press, NY (1990s). For info on Israel's policy towards Palestinian kids caught throwing rocks, see Chomsky's Necessary Illusions, pages 207-212. (I also saw video on Dutch TV News where an Israeli soldier used a rock to break the arm of a young boy) For more info about beaten-up truth speakers, see A Witch-hunt Foiled: The FBI vs NAMBLA by David Thorstad, NAMBLA Publications, 1985, pages 22-24. See also Note 26.

10) This is true of many "youth-run" city newspapers, too, which survive via corporate funding. Take "United Youth of Boston" or New York’s New Youth Connections newspapers: while these are "written by youth," both have an adult editorial staff in which the Basic ideological Assumptions remain stable and make conclusions closely in line with the professional community. A quick comparison with "FPS" shows a stark difference, starting with the military ads.

11) See note 3. See also Sheldon Rampton and John Stauber’s book Toxic Sludge Is Good For You which goes over the Public Relations industry in some detail; Youtube.com has several videos exposing these truths as well if you look up keywords.

12) SHOW ME! A Picture Book for Children and Parents; McBride, W. and Fleishhauer-Hardt, Dr.H.; St.Martin’s Press NY 1975. A more recent German version entitled Zieg-Mal! is much less confrontive pictorally.

12a) Discussion of this was found in the alleged ‘free-speech-oriented’ "Gauntlet" magazine (dates forgotten; likely around 1990-98).

12b) See the legal KOINOS magazine (now defunct, but available at some library collections) for Dutch developments. The “Heretic TOC” blog [*] also has some meaningful insights. In 2007, something went down against The Guide magazine, which I worked for (doing illustration work) for about 17 years. To this day, I still do not know what happened, and the editor, French Wall (notably a former congressional aide) has remained silent, despite many phonecalls over the years. Were they also victim to a vigilante and/or mob attack??

13) For information on "unschooling," see Holt Associates in "For More Information" section.

14) See Regarding Proposed Changes To Article 240b of the Dutch Penal Code by Lawrence A.Stanley p.102, note 192; 1994. A further idea about the 1% part of the actual problem may be mostly due to the fact that most would-be lovers are taught to hate and fear themselves in our society and thus it isn’t surprising that they might become the "monsters" that they’re alleged to be.

14a) On “psychological genocide”, see John Trudell in his speech “We Are Power”.

15) See "So Much Slime, So Little Time" by Nikki Craft in the mens’ feminist magazine Changing Men, issue #24. Also published by On Our Backs magazine.

16) For "child predators" see April ‘92 issue of the NAMBLA Bulletin. Another article about a FIVE-year-old apparently consensually "Raping" an 8-year-old appeared in an Oklahoma City daily (copy, personal file). See also the article entitled "Molested" on Salon.com by a reeling parent.

17) See "Children’s Rights: The Latest Crusade" in Time magazine; December 25, 1972; p.41-42. Several prominent persons even say that children are the "last niggers" of our society and that the rights of children are the "last and greatest frontier in civil and legal rights."

18) See such titles as CAL press’s ANARCHY, A Journal of Desire Armed, SMILE magazine, Maximumrocknroll columns, Mike Gunderloy’s Factsheet 5, and EIDOS published by a bad-ass armed woman by the name of Brenda Loew. All began in the mid-80's and continue to the present (Tho as of 2003, Factsheet 5 has been replaced by The Zine Guide out of Canada. And in the 2000s, the zinelibrary.org came about.

19) So far, the Men’s Movement is being discredited and subverted in interesting ways. In INDIANS ARE US? Ward Churchill attacks the Men's Movement because of its leaders’ promotion of a mis-use of Native Indigenous traditions. Unsettling America also takes this position, while I see nuance. Also, the loudly heard femi-nazi, Nikki Craft, has made it a crusade to intimidate many men from even seeking to understand the mischaracterized pedophile in non-ideological ways, as in her article "So Much Slime, So Little Time" published with rebuttals in the mens' feminist magazine "Changing Men".(#24, 25)

20) For a particularly bold promotion of thuggery, see "Home Court Advantage" by Doug Oakley in San Francisco’s The Nose artist magazine; Acme Publishing. For Mike Diana, several well-known alternative press titles carried reports of his punishment in Florida. Besides being banned from even drawing his art (entirely from his head!), he was forced to attend journalism "ethics" courses and see a psychiatrist. See also "Factsheet Five" and The Comics Journal in the early 1990s.

21) See On The Run by Phillip Agee; Lyle Stuart, Inc., Secaucus, NJ 1987; p.85. See also Ward Churchill’s Indians Are Us?; Common Courage Press; Monroe, ME; 1994; p.185, note 13, where he concurs about Crewdson.

22) See Jeffrey Masson's ‘Against Therapy’ for info about retreats. In this book, we note that while there are moves to think independently of Traditional methods in therapy, basic doctrines along abuse lines remain overlooked...

22a) For an example of funding sources, look for the multi-million dollar funding that suddenly came from Trilateral Commission member, Walter Mondale (before he ran for president). Check out www.cchr.org for further info. Note that this funding came right at the time that elites were starting to implement their strategy of "Rollback" as discussed by Noam Chomsky (in "Media Control") See also http://chomsky.info .

23) See "Who's Old Enough To Play?" by Bill Andriette in The Guide magazine; p.p.22-25; 1989. ( www.guidmag.com )(via archive.org?) Andriette was also similarly dealt with when he came out as NAMBLA member at age 15.

24) See "Legal Abuse in Dade County" by Alexander Cockburn, “New Statesman & Society”; March 19, 1993 p.p.12,13. and Apr.16, 1993, p.10. Also “The Nation” Sep.20 1993 p.272; and Apr.5, 1993 p.438.

See also the Canadian CBC’s series of interviews of adults AND kids around a London, Ontario sex hysteria. Plus there’s the 2013 book, ‘Censoring Sex Research’, by Hubbard and Verstraete; pages 236-247 (?), laying into many ways that Offending kids are Dealt.

27) See AND THEY CALL IT HELP by Louise Armstrong; Addison-Wesley Publishing Company; MA; 1993. See also ‘THE MYTH OF THE HYPERACTIVE CHILD, And Other Means of Child Control’ by Peter Schrag and Diane Divoky; Pantheon; NY; 1975. Also, an article in Ann Arbor Youth Liberation's magazine "FPS" #58: "The Schools, the Police and the Medical/Pharmaceutical Industry ... Will the Real Child Abusers Please Stand Up?" by Donnie "The Punk" (who started spr.org: stop prisoner rape), Fall, 1977; p.43-48; And, I think in a 1980 issue of FPS: “Is Sex the Private Property of Adults?” by Don Crestle. See also adhdfraud.org, www.thomasarmstrong.com , and wildesthorses.com (now, wildest colts?)

27a) All those persons designated "Sex Offenders", including actual abusers AND consensual relators (including young people), are now getting life-long formal and informal punishment because of a national registry system set up where all those convicted of sex offenses must sign up with the police —- or risk being re-jailed -- wherever they live. And, in many cases which I’m aware of, such information that is available to a public (both off and on the Internet in increasing states) has been ceaselessly hyped-up. Resulting in all sorts of violence. See also Reform Sex Offender Laws (organization), and www.sosen.org . And their links.

31) For info on the "Kanalratten": PF 3133; 1 Berlin; 30; Germany. Publishes German language "Autonomer Frauenkalender". A similar group in Germany, called the Indianner Kommune, is allied with the Kanalratten, and has run a curious activism (against 'adulto –adult-centric society') despite increasing hysteria, since 1972. (see address in "for more information" section)

32) See columns by "The Unicorn" (Jesse Calvacca, who outed himself in the well-funded Gay magazine “Out”) in NAMBLA Bulletins around 1984.
